On December 1, the 19th Moving Walls exhibit will be opening in the New York office of the Open Society Foundations Documentary Photography Project; one of the participants of this exhibition is Gallery.Photographer.ru author Rena Effendi.
The Moving Walls project has existed since 1998 and in the time since has presented to the public more than 100 photographers who have dedicated themselves to exploring pressing social and humanitarian problems of the modern world. The exhibition will show works by Rena that speak to the threat of ecological catastrophe in Azerbaijan (the Oil Village series).
