The exhibition D’abord les forêts… / Opus 2 (In the beginning, there was the forest…/Part 2) opened in the beginning of July at the Maison Laurentine contemporary art center (Aubepierre-sur-Aube, France); among its participants is Anton Koslov Mayr, a photographer from the Photographer.ru gallery.
Maison Laurentine (Laurentine Estate) is situated in Aubepierre-sur-Aube (Champagne-Ardenne region) at the heart of a future National Park and is an art center specializing in the themes of nature and forest. This project was created due to the fact that 2011 is the International Year of the Forest.
The exposition will stretch over almost the entire region, both under the roofs of exhibition halls and in the open-air, and will last till October 9; it unites different genres and types of modern art and is, at its core, a traditional open-air exposition. Anton Koslov Mayr is participating in D’abord les forêts… with the series Friends and Acquaintances, which is based on Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau’s movie Nosferatu.
