Works from the series Lost: Paris by Latvian photographer Alnis Stakle from Gallery.Photographer.ru and Agency.Photographer.ru were exhibited at the oldest and largest European photo festival – Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles, which traditionally takes place in Arles in the south of France from July 4 till September 18.
Photographs from Alnis Stakle’s Parisian album took part in one of the night shows dedicated to the Oscar Barnack Award 2011. Though Alnis did not receive the award he was singled out among ten finalists. Besides this, the pictures from the Lost: Paris series were published in a special edition of Leica Fotografie International and won the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards 2011 in spring.
