In the framework of the Photobiennale 2010 Gallery Photographer.ru presents “FASHION”, an exhibition by Christopher Anderson. Born in 1970 in British Columbia, Canada, Christopher Anderson is a member of Magnum Photos/USA and winner of the international photojournalist prise World Press Photo.
Sometimes fashion is only seen in his photographs because it is not afraid of strongly contrasting color. Fashion is probably the only reality which becomes better under a camera flash. On the photographs beautiful, young faces vividly capture emotion. Often it is carried through the space or a situation. A vivid emotion is exactly what interests him most. “All the rest is a trick,” says Anderson.
