The controversy over global warming has brought the theme of the conflict between civilization and nature into the headlines recently — politicians debate it endlessly, wars are caused by it and former U.S. presidential candidate Al Gore made a film about it. This conflict is also the subject of a new exhibition of works by the young Latvian photographer Alnis Stakle, which opened Thursday at the Photographer.ru gallery at Vinzavod.
