Photographs by winners and finalists of the 2008 Sony World Photography Awards go on show at Gallery.Photographer.ru in Moscow, Russia from 13-22 March 2009. The exhibition is part of a global tour which launched at the BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels in June 2008.
This collection of winning photographs was selected by the World Photography Academy which today comprises close to 100 of the leading figures from the world of photography. They were chosen from over 70,000 images submitted from 178 countries.
