On Saturday October 15, a retrospective exhibition was opened at Third Floor Gallery (Cardiff, Wales, UK) featuring selected works from the founder of the Gallery.Photographer.ru, Sergey Chilikov.
The exhibition was timed to coincide with the release of the book with the same name Sergey Chilikov: Selected Works 1978 – , which was published this autumn by the famous Dutch publisher Schilt Publishing in conjunction with the Gallery.Photographer.ru. This was the first publication of the works of the famous photographer in book format; its Russian version will be presented to the public at the end of November this year, at the same time as the opening of the Sergey Chilikov retrospective at the Gallery.Photographer.ru.
The event was also noted by the prominent English magazine the British Journal of Photography, which published an interview with the photographer this week.
