The exhibition of Sergey Chilikov’s selected works will run at the Pavlov’s Dog Gallery, Berlin from January 20, 2012.
In autumn 2011 the book titled Sergey Chilikov: Selected Works 1978 – was released by the Dutch publishing house Schilt Publishing in conjunction with the Gallery.Photographer.ru. This book became the first publication of the author’s works.
It was released in German, English and Russian. The exhibitions at Third Floor Gallery in Cardiff, Wales (autumn 2011) and at Gallery.Photographer.ru (runs from December 9, 2011) were timed to coincide with the release of the book. Now the exhibition of the Sergey Chilikov’s selected works will take place in Berlin. There will be presented the photographs from various years joined by the author’s distinctive visual language which does not fit into any existing canon. Chilikov himself calls his method photographic theatre where he’s a director.
The exhibition will last till February 25, 2012.
