Works by the shortlisted photographers of Deutsche Börse Photography Prize 2015 will be exhibited at The Phtographer’s Gallery from 17 April until 7 June 2015.The winner will be announced at a special award ceremony held at The Photographers’ Gallery on 28 May 2015.
The four artists shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize 2015 are Nikolay Bakharev, Zanele Muholi, Viviane Sassen and Mikhael Subotzky & Patrick Waterhouse.
The Deutsche Börse Photography Prize is an annually reward in photography, it was set up in 1996 by The Photographers’ Gallery, London. The amount of the prize is £30000 and intend for photographers who has made the most significant contribution to the photography development.
The members of the jury are: Chris Boot, Executive Director, Aperture Foundation; Rineke Dijkstra, artist; Peter Gorschlüter, Deputy Director, MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst and Anne Marie Beckmann, Curator, Art Collection Deutsche Börse. Brett Rogers, Director of The Photographers’ Gallery, is the non-voting Chair.
Deutsche Börse Photography Prize is one of the most prestigious prizes in the world of photography.
